ok about 7 p.m. sitting in my friends house, his mom says bye to us and she leaves for work, well about 4 mins later i hear a loud bang noise, so i walk outside and theres my car the headlights were cracked out and my hood buckled, and my middle crossmember is F'ed(hood wont lock, even with us tryin to bend the hood back) mind you she backed into it with a big kia SUV

well heres more to the story....she doesnt want to go through the insurance company, she wants our other friend and his dad to fix it if she buys the parts, and i was like "wtf i could fix it if you bought the parts but i want it done right", so i have to call her sometime and have some words with his mom.

what would you do?????

 

get a police reprt! Tell her she can pay to have it fixed herself or will have her insurance fix it!

 

Get the money from her, fix it yourself for cheaper, and keep the remaining balance. From what your describing it doesnt seem to hard. Plus if she wanted to be a ***, she can say you rear ended her.

get cash from her and do it yourself. reporting it to the cops and insurance is only going to skrew her. If she is willing to fork over the money let her. It would be cheaper for her to do it that way anyways in the long run.

 

C/F hood, projectors, and some misc. parts from the junkyard will set you back ~$600. Having it done somewhere will probably be $1k+
