How do you guys like these gloves?
A guy at work has a pair of the GP Plus (gray) like you see in the picture.

Never used because they are too small for his hands. A really tight fit for him and probably perfect for me since I am not as big as this guy. He's going to let me have them for $35. Just would like to see how you guys like these gloves
Thanks!

Considering those things cost about $160+ brand new, there must be something great about them. And for $35, assuming its still in good condition, you can't go wrong!!
Best gloves ever. The new models are slightly improved too. Stitching is on the outside, the 3rd and 4th fingers are webbed. I like my gp pluses better than my pros.

Thanks for all the feedback so far. He e-mailed me a pic of what they look like (from the web site). I don't think he has found them at the house yet. I'll see today when we get to work. I also told him I'll give him $50 instead of the $35 we agreed on. At $50 he's still basically "giving" them to me.

Not sure. I'm guessing most likely Medium or Large.
I'll make them fit for $50

GP plus are badass. I owned two pairs, loved them. When I get a bike again (thieves suck) I'll be getting a pair of Dainese but thats just cause I'm a snobby bitch, but for the $, the GP Plus are badass.

Be careful with that. You don't want them to slip off if you go asphalt surfin' or bunching up while you're trying to operate the controls, and you don't want them too tight on your hands.
Good luck!

Yeah, take marmaladeboys advice. You don't want the wrong size. I myself have the same exact gloves, color and all. At fiddy bucks, you're getting a great deal!
I bought a used pair for 70 and they are size small. Come to find out that AS sizes run a bit on the small side, mediums would be a better fit for me, especially when wearing a suit. Try them on first to make sure you'll be comfortable in them.

The size is Medium and they fit really snug. Not to tight and not to loose. They are brand new and really seem like they are put together well. Here's a picture I just took:

Gotta love the carbon fiber

Also, my father picked up him and me leather jackets from Rich's this evening. Tag says $300, got some % off, then had a 10% off coupon which brought the jackets down to $89 a piece. I forget the brand, but damn nice jackets for the price. wQQt wQQt
PS <> I may end up ebaying the gloves but not sure at this point. I have and will be buying a 04 VLX 600 cruiser. Just think these gloves are more for a sports bike with the look they give. I'll see how they look with the new jacket and decide..... You'll probably only see the knuckles and lower hand with the jacket sleeves pulled over the gloves, so they'll probably go nice. Anyhow, I can tell they'll hold up nicely if (God hope not) I crash which is the main reason they are for

Nah, keep the gloves even if they don't fit the typical "outfit" that a cruiser rider wears. Good protection never goes out of style.
Just be forewarned that just because they have all the ventilation or carbon fiber doesn't make it a good glove. But the Alpinestars are put together pretty well. Sorry, just rambling.
