I know this has been cover but I can't seem to find it. anyways.. what RPMs are you guys at when in 5th at 75mph, 80mph, and 90mph on a regular b16a trans

not sure about 75 but i know VTEC x-over is right at 100 MPH which would be 5500 or is it 5200 for the Si's? so i would say about 4400 at 75? i know in my old 91 hatch with jdm b16a swap i was in vtec at 80 mph 5200 rpms

 

at 75 mph im at about 4500 rpm's...85 mph im at about 5200...its pretty damn short geared

Doesn't matter. Your vehicle speed that's indicated on your spedometer can care less how fast you're actually going.

 

I don't know whats up with my trans I think it has R internals but at like 80mph in 5th IM at like 6200. I can't cruise anywhere in this thing and Im boosted too I need some longer gears

 

Here's a shot showing 3900 RPM @ 72mph

~4100 RPM @ 75mph
~4300 RPM @ 80mph
~4900 RPM @ 90mph

This is on 205/50-15 tires.
