Default Door doesnt cloes right having problems????????

Ok the driver door on my hatch wont close right. The door started doin that one day after my friend slamed it. Now I have to slam the door for it to close, if not it stays a little open. How do i fix it, do i have to take door off and align it again? It seems as if the door sags a little.

Check the plastic in the door, that's VERY fragile, and prone to breaking. It'll sometimes get in the way of your latch.

if its sagging there is a way to fix it...i had to do this with my car...there are 4 bolts i think on the inside of the door jam where the door meets the car. use a jack under the door while its open, loosen the bolts and jack the door up carefully (with a towel or rag under the door). You might have to raise the door above level for it to even out after tightening the bolts. hth, and i hope thats the problem

if it doesnt close all the way after than then unscrew the 2 screws on the shinny latch thing on the door/car framethen tap it inwards with a rubble mallet then re tighten screws...thats what worked on my rex

Ok well i checked the door and the little plastic latch inside the door is cracked, can just take one off another door and put it in mine.
