How much would a 97 prelude auto, salvage go for? The car has 90,000 miles on it, salvaged from the previous owner, and has a body kit.

How much does a stock front , rear bumper cost? Sides?

The owner is asking 3000 for it. Im thinking about repairing it and selling it again.

 

Salvaged from what? Flood, theft, wreck? It makes a big difference. Since you're looking for bumpers, I assume it was a wreck. You need to make sure the unibody / alignment is not going to be an issue. Realigning the body can be expensive, and if it's bad, the car will never handle right. Did the airbags go off? If it was flood damage, I wouldn't touch it. The electrical problems will drive you crazy. Plus, the mold can put some people that are allergic to it in the hosipital.

 

the car is not in a salvage state right now, it was fixed. i think it was from either theft or accident. recently he got into an accident and a left light, front bumper, and hood was replaced. currently the car looks beat up. the front bumper is all cracked and i think it will break soon. the problem is the cost of fixing up the car to par vs selling it as is for a lower price, with a body kit on it. i dont want to do it if i dont make at leaset 1500 of it
