hey guys i currently have a DEH 930 ( Pioneer) nd im thinking about getting the eclipse CD8053. I know I will be loosing XM, not that big or a deal. but out put wise /quality wise what do you think?

ill choose that eclipse over that pioneer EVERY day. eclipse has better quality

How about tunig wise? the premeer has a lot of tuning options IE: time alingment ect, how about the eclipse?

eclipse has great tuning capablities as well.....parametric eq, three way crossover, and yes, that nasty thing called time alignment!

Will the eclipse be better then what you have now, not sure, your money may be better spent elsewhere, but if had to choose between the two, without a doubt, eclipse...but there is no MP3 support on the 2003 line of eclipse - 2004 models may include this...

From what I understand the Eclipse does support MP3's but you have to pruchase the Eclipse commander.
