hey i have a Q, i am planning on doing a conversion and am getting a carbon fiber hood for dirt cheap (it has some sort of crack in the clear coat, but not through the whole thing) and im wondering if it would be ok to cut the hood. there are places i need to cut , and what would happen if i did. will it start to come apart and fray maybe?? also, how could i fix that crack? maybe sand it down and apply some clear coat??

 

have someone with experience with carbon do it or show you how to do it... best advice i can give you... you can't really tell someone how to do something like that... especially if we don't know what it looks like
