ok, i searched and couldnt come up with anything. i have the opportunity to either get the h&r sport springs or neuspeed sport springs for the same price. both have the same drop but different spring rates(h&r is greater). need some input from people that actually used them to help me decided which way to go.
the h&r will run stiffer, but be better for auto-x, the nuespeeds (which i have) will ride a little softer than the h&rs and will also be much better than stock.
i sport the nuespeeds and i love them.

I don't want to sound like a jerk but the search button does work. Perhaps you didn't select "Archive Content"? I'm sure you selected the "Integra" forum too right?
To answer your question:
First you need to think about dampers/shocks that will go along with your springs.
There's a trade-off between performance and comfortability. Having springs with a high spring rate is considered better for handling but worst for ride quality. The reason being is because when you make a hard turn or when the car leans into a corner, the springs on your car are made to counteract the force pushing against it: prevents weight transfer. The higher the spring rates, the more it prevents weight transfer and provides better control.
Luckily you are not limited to just Linear springs. Progressive springs such as Eibach are designed for comfort without giving up too much handling. With this kind of spring is uncompress, it has a low spring rate, but as you compress it (aka: turns), the spring gets stiffer. Unfortunately, progressive springs are consider inferior to linear springs for racecars...
Good luck. Correct any mistakes that I made you guys. =]

ah that will do it, i forgot the archive button...my goof. i would really like to keep my ride close to the same so maybe i will look into gettin the neuspeeds. i found them a good bit cheaper than eibachs. it sounds like they may be good a trade off between the h&r's and eibachs(just from what ive read here and heard elsewhere)

yeah well when the Sport springs drop the car 3" (yes mine are Sport springs), 276 lb/in just doesn't cut it.
I don't know what the Neuspeed Sport spring rates are.

I got neuspeed race springs and damn...it feels like my car is getting lower and lower by the day. It started with F 2.0' and R 1.75'. The guy who sold them to me said they settle in at 2.5'. Yep it sure is or probably more. I still have my stock shocks on, but when spring comes-she'll be gettting some new ones.
and some other goodies
But the ride is soft and bumpy. I want to be more the stiff side. On my old ride was stiff, I had eibach sportlines w/KYB's. So I think I'm gonna go with KYBs...

i thought this too about my ride. my car seemed to get lower by the day. then last week i noticed fluid from around the shock area (yep blew a shock). now my ride is shitty as hell and i am waiting for new tokico illuminas to arrive any day. all i have to say is do it right the first time and get shocks and springs. oh yeah im on nuespeed race springs. very very low drop (tucks stock rims and tires)

would a good set of struts/shocks help control the settlin of the springs or is it inevitable that they will settle that much?
So how can you tell if you have a blown shock? or if its just a shitty suspension? My car is on the stock 15' rims and my tires arent tucking in, but I can get my fingers between the tire and the fender but theres extra space. I do need a camber kit though, real bad.
Oh yeah I think that the aftermarket springs have some what to do with how it settles in. B/c the aftermarket ones are made for aftermarket springs. When u put aftermarket springs, on stock shocks it isnt made for the springs. It'll handle what it can then after some time, the shocks are shot. I'm not exactly sure though...

i used to have neuspeed race springs on my teg b4 i got the ground controls, and i liked them as far as ride comfort, but they slammed my car way too much in my opinion and i hated it. I heard from a few people that neuspeed springs settle at least .25" more after a while.....
