Smelly Eggs, Whats the deal?
OK while driving somewhat normal- yes me ( I had a woman passenger
) I noticed, actually could not help not noticing it, a very strong smell of rotten eggs coming from the car.
I know that the cat when bad will give a egg smell but for a cat to go bad at only 46k miles???
I checked all the normal things/ fluids but nothing strange except the smell...
Any other thougths?

Perhaps it was your woman passenger blessing your car with a stink bomb.
<--- who drops a stink bomb is his car when needed.
On topic: Thats rather strange and i dont really know what to suggest checking, maybe under your seats if you checked all your fluids. You dont have any freinds who would just play a practical joke on you do.

Was the smell the strongest at a standstill? Or constant regardless of speed? Just sit in or drive behind an RSX if you want to see what a "bad" cat that is working "properly" will smell like...

Yeah yeah yeah, lots of jokes!!! and some even funny
Like I said nothing strange all fluids up to level and good cond., I did put the a/c on last week to circulate the oil in the lines.
I have been only using 93 octane or better- just from different gas stations.

Sounds... err... smells like the cat. Something that many of the RSXes have to deal with. My friend's RSX is exactly like that, smelly eggs alot of the time... It's the worst when I'm following him in the R, which is when I have to pass him...
But seriously, he does have spurts of non-smelling exhaust with a batch of "good gas", but on the whole, it is a known problem. I guess just monitor it for a little bit and see if it is gonna go away with different gas... but I doubt it...
You running OEM or aftermarket cat?

Also, if it had never happened with the gas you using now, and the problem (as it seems) just popped up... chances are it ain't the gas...
Could something else cause the the cat to go bad?, Such as something with the ing system?
On the chance its just the cat, what does everyone think or recommend I do?
Will Acura warranty a cat?

Try a couple tanks of gas and if it is still there, you might be able to get Acura/Honda to do something about it, if you have a 2001 or extended warranty.
But don't bet on it though, Honda has been perfectly willing to let smelly RSXes run around all this time. My friend and his RSX brethren have been turned away from every dealer he has tried... "it's normal"...

If your catalytic converter was bad I would imagine you would get an engine code.
