Popular choice of competition tires on stock R wheels?

Popular choice of competition tires on stock R wheels?

Since my R rolling on JDM 16 on the streets, the stock R wheels just laying around in the garage with worn RE010s. I have itch to put some competition tires on
them for just seldom AutoX (NO DRAG). What is all your suggestions in cheap choice?
I only can find 205-50-15 selection in Tirerack.

you can go 205/50 or 225/45 kumho escta or victoracer. those will be the cheapest, longest lasting R compound tires that will fit. the 205 will fit the thin 6" wheels better, but many past national DS itr champs have run 225's on the same wheel.
