I bought a 00' S2000. The syncronizer is going bad, gear grinds going from first to second, the clutch is slipping, and its ticking me off. I need help. What should i do. I was thinking new flywheel, new clutch, new PP, and what else do i need to fix. Thanks.

 

there was a TSB on this . if you got extended warranty, head on over to the dealership and let them take care of it for you.

 

i bought it used and i don't think it had the extended warranty.

 

how would i go about finding if it has the extended warranty

nope. so am i screwed or what should i do.

 

Try changing the tranny fluid to pennzoil syncromesh same stuff as GM syncromesh, little notchy when its cold but when tranny warms up it should help with the 2nd gear grind.

 

Should i just buy A NEW CLUTCH and pressure plATE. tHE MONEY DOESN'T mATTER.
