Best bang for buck: rear or front sway bar?
Ok guys.. in your opinion.. can I just go with a rear anti-Sway bar?
I have heard that a front sway bar doesn't do much and that a front tower bar will suffice.
I read in a few threads that a rear sway bar gives the most noticeable improvement in handling..
so my question.. .can I just go with a rear sway bar and ignore the front? or should I just go with a full setup?
thanks ..btw its for a 94 integra sedan

itr bar with bsq's mounting kit. search for his username on here. best suspension bang-for-the buck. really easy to install too.

I've been running the BSQ kit for well over a year and no problems what-so-ever!

You already have a front swaybar. If your car is an LS it's 22mm, if it's a GS-R it's 24 (unless maybe the sedans all had 24mm in front in 94, not sure).
The ITR 22mm rear swaybar is a great mod.
However swaybars and shock tower bars (and tie bars) do ENTIRELY different things. Swaybars attach to the suspension arms on both sides and resist bodyroll by resisting the suspension wanting to twist the bar. Shock tower bars and tie bars merely only tie chassis points together, making the chassis more rigid. It's more of a "passive" suspension mod while a swaybar is more of an "active" mod, as are shocks and springs.

If you autox a lot or really into cornering, you should consider the comptech swaybar + tie bar combo. There has been subframe tearing reported for ITR sway bar with (beaks or BSQ - don't remember which). The non - R subframe is just too weak for that kind of torture.

the comptech is great and i would get it if it wasn't that expensive. the tearout was with the beaks kits on a EK. i do not know of any tearouts on the DC. Some thinks that the EK frame might be weaker or maybe its just different geometry.
since i already had a lower tie bar, i just the the itr sway. can not beat it for around 100 with all the parts. only certain tie bar will fit with the larger sway though.

thanks for the info guys..
it really helped out
as far as the beaks/BSQ bars and the tearing of frame situation..can any elaborate on this? is this happening on only a few cars? or is it a common flaw with this kit?

beaks kit or BSQ kit are just reinforcement kits that allow you to safely install a itr 22mm rear sway bar.
they are needed because a tearout is almost guaranteed to occur if you do not have the reinforcement kits. i have never seen/heard of a tearout with either kit on 3rd gen integras. I use the BSQ because it was cheaper.
