can fried cps make car run like krap??

like it says. i think i fried mine somehow. computer is telling me its that. replace it it should run fine right?...i know its an off question but i would like to know if thats causing my car to like studder.

If its toast. Yes your car will run bad. You have to replace the whole dizzy I believe.
