Default Just converted to OBD-1... V-AFC not as effective now?

After running into every problem possible with my OBD-1 conversion, I finally got it running like a champ. I really like the new socketted P28 ECU - my motor definitely feels stronger than with my previous OBD-0/PM6 setup. Better throttle response and a steadier and stronger powerband.

Sadly, I ran into something negative with this conversion. My V-AFC doesn't seem to be as effective in changing the a/f ratio on the new P28 ECU, as it did with my old PM6 ECU. With OBD-0, I could richen the fuel settings drastically, creating outrageously rich a/f ratios; reducing the fuel was just as effective.

After converting to OBD-1, the V-AFC doesn't seem to be able to richen the fuel at all during WOT. I even tried increasing it ~+30% across the board to see if it would make any difference in the a/f ratio - none. At idle, the V-AFC seems to work. I can increase or decrease the fuel, and I see the change in the a/f ratio; however, the ECU seems to correct the idle a/f ratio if it's too rich (which is understandable, considering it's in closed-loop).

Apparently the new OBD-1 ECU acts differently than the older OBD-0 ECU. It plainly doesn't accept the modified MAP sensor signals created by the V-AFC like my old ECU did... I wonder why? Perhaps my settings are incorrect.

Has anybody else noticed this type of problem?
