SEQUOIA INSTITUTE? NEED SOME OPINIONS
ANYONE GO TO THIS TECH SCHOOL? IM LOOKIN INTO GOING THERE SOMETIME THIS YEAR. I JUST WANT TO GET PEOPLES OPINIONS ON IF ITS A GOOD PLACE
TO LEARN STUFF OR IS IT A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. ITS ABOUT $28K FOR THE 18 MONTH PROGRAM. I ALREADY HAVE SOME UNDERSTANDING OF WORKING
ON CARS FROM BRAKES AND AXLES, CLUTCHES, TRANNYS, MOTORSWAPS, TURBO MODIFICATIONS AND OTHER LITTLE STUFF(MOSTLY JUST ON HONDAS AND TOYOTAS) I WANT TO EXPAND MY KNOWLAGE OF CARS MORE. ENOUGH TO
BE ABLE TO WORK ON THEM FOR A LIVING AND NOT JUST A HOBBY ANYMORE.
WILL I LEARN ENOUGH HERE THAT WOULD BE WORTH SPENDING $28K OR AM I JUST GONNA LEARN ABOUT THE SAME STUFF THAT I ALREADY KNOW. I KNOW THAT THERE IS A WHOLE LOT MORE TO CARS THAN JUST THAT I STATED EARLIER BUT IS IT WORTH THE $28K.THANKS

Dont know about that school first hand, but best I have found is UTI (universal technical institute). I talked with several people when deciding which school for myself. I am going to UTI for several reasons
First: Its a 48 week accerlated program. They told me that if I was not 110% dedicated and had no prior knowledge of cars that I probably would never make it through.
Second: Its the only school that auto makers like Porsche, Audi etc... pick and chose the people from they want to hire.
The only problem is they only have 4 campuses nation wide so unless you live near one then you would need to move.
I hope this helps and if you need any other info let me know I will be glad to help.
