anyone heard of this being done or anything? i would like any information possible, cuz i may be trying to make this happen if its not too hard or anything....ima look more into it, but i think it'd be cool...instead of going out and buyin some racing seats or paying to hav emine re upholstered (sp?)....thanks tho.

5th gen seats are big and wide I don't know why you would want them. The rails aren't the same if that's what you're thinking.

 

tried puttin em in my 4th gen once. you can line up the front two bolts on each seat but not in the back. you would have to swap rails which isnt fun. and from experience, i think the 5th gen seats sit way too high in a 4th gen lude.

 

5th gen seats are not only high in 4th gens but in 5th gen itself! hehehe.

i am only 5'7'' and with a helmet on (for auto-x'ing), i gotta put the butt-part of the seat, all the way down to the floor.

 

5th gen seats are nowhere near as good as the 4th gen's.

 

hey, i appreciate it....looks like im getting my seats upholstered after all....maybe black and silver tweed would be kinda nice.......thanks too everyone that posted.
