I am going to try to repair / modify my stock front bumper so it will hold my FMIC with out being pushed out.
So, can I fiberglass the bumper or will it not stick?

I'm not 100% sure here but I would not use fiberglass. Reason I am thinking it would not be a great idea is because it is much more rigid than the plastic bumper. So if the bumper is to move a little it could separate... Try calling a body shop to see what they use on plastic. Might be something that is slightly more flexible...

 

yea.. that is kind of my thought. I wonder if I could just use my bumper as a mold and make my own out of fiberglass.

 

there are plastic based body work materials. i dont know the name of the top of my head but ive used it before. pm me and remind me to check into it. i can ask a friend to get me some if you are close by.
