Noticed they are selling carsound cats on ebay for around $50. Has anyone bought from them before. Are they the real deal. Anyone know the part number of the carsound cat need for itr with dc jdm header?

They should be real but they aren't the bolt on versions. You will need to take it to a muffler shop to have them custom fit it.

It used to be 94066 but I believe the ones that IPS/SMS sell are different now.

 

Carsound sucks. Don't buy one. Good probability it will break.

 

There is no bolt on cat directly from Carsound for a JDM header.

I haven't had one of the new versions (not what's on ebay) go bad in 1-1/2 years now. There are differences in the models and flow.

I have one that just took a **** on me....Any suggestions as to another cat to pick up. Although for $50 bucks you cant go wrong

I bought one off eBay, was perfect.

 

i bought one over a year ago....

came with no O2 bung, and no flanges

SMS hooked me up.

 

o2 bung was an option that cost about ~$25.00 more. No flanges though.
