turbo manifold: DSM works!
I don't know if this is something that people know already, but you can use a 1st gen eclipse turbo manifold as a manifold for your Accord. For all of you do it yourself turbo people. cheap and easy to find. Let me know what you guys think?
i've never hear this, but its certainly great news. anyone know anything else??? any pics or people who've done it before??? will it fit all f series heads?? h22 head??? thanks.

We just got the cars kit on and it's a F22 single cam in a 90-92 Accord. It was a breeze and only a little modification to get it to work. Than you can just bolt up the 14B turbo from the 1st gen. Use the downpipe flange to create a custom down pipe. Use the 1st gen eclipse Blow off valve and Intercooler. You got yourself a DSM powered Honda!!! All of this was bought for about 400 bucks. Custom piping. Fittings were found at the local Hardware store along with the clamps. Oil lines at the local automotive store, along with the T fittings. Real cheap and nice power. Boost at 12psi. I'll try to get pics.

Keep in mind that we just put the custom kit on. And we also have to tune it too. I'll keep you posted.

only works for NON-VTEC F and H series heads. i.e., F22A1, F22A4, F22A6, H23A1. All have the same exhaust manifold bolt pattern.
You can check compatibility with your particular engine by going to http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com and checking your exh manifold gasket part # against the # for a 90-93 Accord.
By the way, Dainteg, did you get to keep the front dogbone mount, or did it have to be removed?

I cut the middle off and kept about a foot on each side. Just in case I did get into that accident, than I'd have alittle support instead of none. Gotta protect the B18C1 GSR motor and turbo setup with as much as possible
I drive a 91 Integra but work on all types of cars. I thought that I would share since DSMers are always getting rid of their manifolds and turbo setups for upgraded ones. That way you guys can get Boost for cheap.
