you can use the stock ZC exhaust manifold if you have the stock ZC downpipe - Si throttle body will work on the ZC

Just in case you dont get the lower half of the mani, I didnt, you can grab a 92-95 Civic EX downpipe, not sure if the dx/lx will work, but it will hang low, you can see it looking at the front of your car. And yes, the Si throttle body/cable will work.

What won't bolt on is the Intake manifold. The ZC has a different pattern.

I too, am swaping the zc in and would like to keep the stock header, and someone said the 92-95 civic downpipe would work with the stock zc header. Is this true?

oh never mine.

Well just to throw it out there, I had a Stock Crx si Exhaust mani and downpipe on my DOHC ZC and it worked just fine. I know have the same mani on my D15b vtec. correct me if I'm wrong but if it's a D series mani won't it bolt up to any D-series head?

Besth thing you can do is get a 2.25 or 2.5 cat back that makes the biggest difference on a ZC, HEader is going to help but to a much smaller degree. Same with a CAI, So if you got a factory exhaust dump that first. Speaking as someone who did the upgrades in this order, CATBACK, week later CAI and day after that header. OH, and I have a factory ZC header with both the correct top and bottom halves if interested.

Youi will love this engine its a runner, but it needs to breath and really loves 4,000-7,200 RPM, thats when it is in its powerband

Does anyone known the best place online with good prices to get the 90-93 integ u axles cuz I cant find any in my area.
I tried goggle but must of the sites it gave me are sold out or don’t have them.

Oh yeah, will any 1988 prelude 2.0 FI timing belt work for my DOHC ZC or does it have to be vtec or non vtec. What the hell is the “balance belt” for and do I need it.
One guy at AutoZone was telling me I have to get it or its no point in have one(timing belt) with out the other(balance belt).

These two things are pissing me off cuz i'm so confused and i need it in by 1/30/04.

I have a 4-2-1 stainless header, it helps, Cold Air intake made no noticible difference, except for an anoying whistle. But goig fron a stock exhaust to a larger cat back, wow, the butt dyno registered the biggest difference from that one singe change.

THe correct ZC header I have up for sale is the factory one with top and bottom halves, not my stainless header, selling that with my complete ZC swap as soon as I pull it in the next week for my complete SiR driveline swap.

Onc you put a larger catback on it will help a little, if you are changing from the Factory ZC manifold. For those of you running an Si exhaust manifold then yes the difference will be far bigger. THe factory ZC manifold is not a bad piece but it is heavy. As far as D series manifold go from the factory it may have been the best.

for me, it was:
Intake:
Header:
exhaust:

But then again, the BUTT dyno is never very accurate, the whole package together is what really matters in the end anyhow.
