Howdy folks!

Im a proud owner of a 98 Integra Type R, Which is a terrific car! However i have a few questions about the difference between this model and the previous one, which looks quite the same. in example the 94-97model, may it be the GSR? Anyway, to me these cars have the same exterior apperance...
My problems appeared when i thought about buying a body kit for my car, since quite a few of the kits, especially the front bumper is suited for the 94-97 Integra.

Do you suppose these bumpers, which clearly is not made for my Integra Type R will fit my car? And is it possible to improvise to make sure they will?

Why would one choose such a mutant front end?

 

The front ends from 94-97 and 98+ are different..

here is 98..


The 98 has the larger bumper opening, and the ellipsoid cutouts around the headlight.

The 97 has no cutouts around the headlight, and the smaller bumper opening w/the piece running through the middle.

As far as getting bodykits to fit..I dunno. I wouldn't recommend it for the following reason.

1.Its very hard to get it to fit properly.
2.It doesn't match the bodylines.
3.It ends up cracking etc...
4.Its just fawking ugly

 

I'm postitive they make body kits that will fit your car but
