Default is mini me possible on a 89 dx 1.5

i have a 89 civic dx and i was wondering is is possible to do a mini me swap with that engine

yes it is, same thing though as a JDM D15B which came on a Civic VTi/ CRX VXi
130ps=128hp and 103lbs of torque....these are cheap, you can get them for about $250-350 at most places....

You will most definitely want to upgrade to Si port injection and get rid of the dual point garbage. Depending on what head you use (z6 or Y8) you will be raising compression significantly. With a Y8 head you will be looking at around 11.5:1 CR.
I plan on doing my DX this winter- just trying to decide on what pistons and if I should just find a 1.6L block. Change your injection first- this will make a large improvement. Then you can do the head later. You will need high octane gas- I don't know if 94 octane will be high enough for such a high CR or not. I would also at least replace the piston rings or you will be smoking. I plan on doing rod bearings as well.
