they don't have a "replacement" for the prelude. at least not yet.

 

yes they do, a coupe is schedualed for 2003

 

I think it will be a combination of the Accord Coupe/Prelude... I only wish they would make it rear wheel drive. That way, if they put a V6 in it, it won't compete with the Acuras. Or stick 250HP I4, RWD, 2800lbs.. mmm... oh wait, that's the S2K Coupe..

In 2003, my Prelude replacement will most likely be either the Lancer Evolution VII or Subaru Impreza STi...

Of course with all the other cool sports cars coming out in the next 3 years who knows what I'll be buying next...

Honda Preludes are the only cars I've ever owned (1993 Vtec & 2000 5spd). I really hope that if Honda does indeed revive the Prelude name in the future that the new car upholds the qualities that has always made the Prelude the special car it is: A high technology, high reliability, afordable, true sports coupe.

If the next "Prelude" is just a whored up 2 door Accord platform (i.e. like the CL Type-S) or another FWD hatchback, then forget it... If it is the much rumored S2000 platform coupe, then sign me up!
