Default d16z6 into 97' civic wiring help!

Hey guys, this weekend I will be swaping a d16z6 in for my blown d16y7. I bought a obd2-1 conversion harness and a p28 ecu to convert to obd1 and make things easier. I have three questions.
1) Will I have to change any wiring in the engine bay to make this work?

2) Can I use the axles that were in my y7 or do I need z6 axles?(I am using my y7 tranny)

3) Will the shift linkage and all that line up or do I need other parts?

Thanx in advance!

You MUST reuse your stock harness and add the needed extra wiring OR get a 96-98 EX harness for better plug and play. The D16Z6 harness will not work with an EK chassis.

Yes you can reuse your stock axles no problem.

You can reuse your stock shift linkage.

*** I'm not sure if you've already got the Z6 bolted into the car, but if not then you must change the driver's side bracket and mount to the bracket and mount from your stock Y7.

Why is that? I'm not arguing with you, I'm just curious.

Isn't it illegal to put in a lower year motor in a higher year car??????
