Default Those running Yoko AV ES100's

For those of you running the ES 100's...

do you get a slight pull to the right while driving on a flat road? This is the second set i've had and both have done the same thing. I would assume this is due to the multi directional tires? An alignment has been done and it still does the same crap.

My azenis did that and now the MXs don't, some tires do have that trait

Mine don't and never have. Checked the pressure in your tires? Define a flat road. All roads if built right will have a slope to them for drainage. It might look flat . . .

That'd be what I'd mess with before going to another reputible shop for an alignment.

4 degrees minimum from the center to the curb from what I've read. And yes even if it looks flat as hell I'm not sure if I could dectect a 4 degree difference visually. But, for certain every Integra I've owned (LS's & R's) have pulled to one side or another on rutted or cambered/sloped roads.

Ive had mine for 4 days now and mine pull to the right as well. I haven't checked me tire pressure yet so hopefully thats the problem.

asahi is right, maybe the road is slanted for drainage

Hmm

I guess what I meant by flat roads was newly paved...not all fudged up by wear and tear...it was relatively smooth with no bumps and other wear features.

I havn't checked tire pressure. I assume keeping all of them at the same psi within spec should suffice?

Tire stores call that a radial pull. Some tires do it and some don't. Try to rotate them front to back and see if it still does it. Also check the tire pressure.
Hope these are good tires, mine should be in today. Can't beat the price.

No pull here, tires are about 1 week old.

I really enjoy mine, although I do notice a pull every now and then. Some of the freeways here in Cali have weird pave patters, so I notice these tires and the Azenis as well tend to follow the direction of the pave rather than the lane. So I do get side to side movement every now and then. It is totally manageable though. I just consider it normal.

Seem to be getting mixed responses on the right pull. However, it does seem pretty normal from what I hear... so I'm not too worried about it. As mr. clockwork said, it's pretty manageable.

The tires are cheap and effective as hell.

This may sound Really Crazy and Stupid but, make sure all 4 tires are exactly the same size.

Why you may wonder?

The last time more than a few of us were at Limerock for a DE, some poor guy in a white RSX actually had different sized Azenis on his car, but not totally his fault. He reported that he bought them from Discount tire direct some few days earlier and just installed them not thinking to check that they were all the same size. Or even thinking that DTD would make such a mistake.

I don't remember off hand what the size difference was but he had 2 of the smaller ones on the passneger side and 2 of the taller ones on the drivers side and swapped to taller rear and smaller front after one of us pointed it out to him.

Seriously.

Had mine for about 4 months and mine pulls left....prob tire pressure, or balancing, or the fact my R is dropped on it's nuts

alignment and tire pressure...no tire should pull (left or right) with those factors in check

Mine pulls to the right as well, totally flat roads no crowning. Tire pressures are fine and car did not pull at all with the stockers.

For those of you who don't pull, what psi do you keep your fronts and backs at?
