Teg/Civic Si 11" 4 piston kits now finalized...
I have finally nailed down the specs for the 11" 4 piston kit. Here they are:
Superlite IIA calipers
11" x 21mm thick 1 piece rotors, slotted as standard
adapter brackets
brake line adapters,
hardware, etc.
Pads are not included, I'm leaving pad selection up to the buyer.
Retail price will be $674.95
Honda-Tech price will be $575
The Superlite calipers weigh 4.1 lbs each, so weight savings will be about 8 lbs per wheel.
These will fit under a 95 GSR wheel, and I hope the other years too. Amazingly the calipers fit the stock wheel better than my 15" Rota C8's. But it's nothing a little filing won't fix
I will start taking orders immediately, with first shipments October 15.

Hmm..theres a very good and safe way to save weight as well as get much better braking...nice! I bet those would be a dramatic improbment over stock HX brakes...right?
I might seriously consider it once I upgrade my wheels.

I was told the 4 piston calipers would be overkill..and that my best bet would be the 11" Big Brake kit with some GSR/EX calipers...sound good?
Brian, where can I goto get pads for my wilwood calipers. I have emailed a couple of places but haven't heard back from anyone. Do you have any recommendation in particular? Looking for hawk hp+ or equivalent. thanks,

Superflea- I've got a couple of different compounds in stock, street or race. Email me for costs.
HX Guy- The 4 piston calipers are mainly for track, the stock style calipers are perfectly good for the street. I've got the complete package on hand if you want a set.

Once the Rota Subzero's are available in 16s...Ill defintaley get in contact with you and look into a set of 11" rotors

Wow, I really wish I had the cash for something like that. Better calipers/bigger rotors and adujstable shocks are top of my list for suspension.
Do you have a website that I could purchase these from when the cash becomes available?

See http://www.fastbrakes.com for all the stuff I have and how to contact me when you're ready. New stuff being added all the time...
will 13" bogarts or lensos fit over those calipers? With spacers of course....
If not, then will 14" bogarts fit?

I don't think so. The largest rotor I could fit with the 13"s was the 10.2". The 14's might work with spacers, you need approx 12" wheel ID where the caliper will be.
Prelussion- I'm giving the H-T board people the price of $575 for the kit, only thing you'll need are pads.
Ein-Now if I told you my rotor swapping secrets how could I sell these kits
They are a Honda rotor. The biggest difference between this kit and the one by Wilwood is these fit inside 15" wheels. The kit Wilwood just started making is a 12.2" kit using their Dynalite calipers. It's a good kit, but requires 16" wheels. I've decided to focus my kits on the 14 and 15" wheels.
I am currently waiting on my 11.75" prototype rotors to be finished, at which time I'll see if I have enough orders to go into production. These rotors will also fit inside a 15" wheel, using the same calipers as the 11" kit.

Finally a cool brake kit for those of us that think Honda 15s are the nicest wheel on our car. Thanks man, I will be coming to you when I have the cash for that set.
How do we know which size pads are we suppose to get for the 4pot calipers? Like i have Hawks sitting in my garage for my gsr, i cant use those right
Will they, or should they fit under 15" rims with 40mm offset?

The pads are specific to the Wilwood and other aftermarket calipers. All the big pad makers have several compounds for them.
I test fitted them to my Rota C8 with +38 offset and they just barely touch the spokes. The stock 95 GSR wheels clear fine. I plan on offering a 3mm wheel spacer which should help, without having to put in longer studs.

Prelussion- That's a different setup altogether. The ITR caliper bracket needs to be machined in order to work on the Teg with the 11 redrilled rotors I use, or you can use either my 2 piece rotors or the Stoptech 2 piece rotors with the unmachined brackets.
The other caliper would be the 98+ Accord V6 with minor work to provide rotor clearance, using the redrilled rotors I use.
