2001 JDM ITR Header
I just took delivery of a 2001 JDM ITR B18C-R motor. The head is stamped 00. I was expecting it to have 4-1 header on it. But it had a 4-2-1. The delivery guy didn't know anything about it. Did they do the ol' switcheroo on me? Or did some 2001s come with a 4-2-1?
I got it from an importer I met on ebay. He's been doing business there for some time now. I don't think he realizes what happened. Sent him an email and am going to call him today.

4.785 FD Tranny + LSD... just so he doesn't go ballistic that he didn't get the right tranny either...

Alot of importers just take it off and sell it later.
If its a 98+ itr swap then it should have come with the 4-1 or something nicer aftermarket. I bet it was bought with a nicer header on it, they just swapped another header on to keep the upgrade.

There is no such thing as a 2001 jdm R motor. In 2001 the DC5 was in production. The newest would be 2000.
It sounds like either he switched it out, or you got a euro motor. The euro came with a non cast 4-2-1 design different from usdm and jdm.
