hey does anyone on here know where I can acquire the carbon looking interior from a JDM ITR???

 

do a search in the classifieds first...then check ebay or partstrader.com

 

Also look for 00-01 USDM ITR faux cf interior.

 

I tried the parts section but I am new to the site so it won't let me post in there

 

There are a number of JDM parts dealers that sell the carbon trim, but please note, there is a difference between the JDM and USDM pieces that go around the shifter.

 

what's the difference between the parts that go around the shifter then...I didn't know about that

 

The shifter console on the JDM one is designed for a right hand drive and is a mirror image of the USDM one. If you'll notice, you're shifter console veers slightly toward the drivers side making the surrounding plastic piece asymetrical. The JDM piece is the same way, but is veering the opposite direction. They don't fit, it's that simple.

the USDM ITRs came with a faux carbon trim as well??? I don't know much as far as these little details go...so anything you guys can say would be of help.

Yes, but finding a good set can be difficult. Check the classified, ebay, and call up Larry Jr. at Import Auto Salvage, if anyone can help you it's him.
