OBDII is just more emissions controls regulated by gov't, more sensors, ecu programming.

92 Si ecu is a p14

Yea I finally realized about 2 weeks ago all the money I spend on my 00 Lude is absolutely worthless due to the OBDII. I'm not sure if I wanna keep resetting it cuz programming my Alpine deck is a pain in the @ss. NO more stupid bolt ons for me, I'm just gonna juice it.

OBD 2 does not “Kill” your bolt ons. I gained about 30hp at the wheels with just I/H/E and high flow cat, and I don’t ever reset the ECU. Restting does not help when you tune it the right way. Why do you even thing it will kill your bolt ons? OBD 2 also has a timing map to keep timing optimal over the RPM range for better HP. OBD 1 does not have this. Read what I wrote in this thread about OBD 2.

Yeah I use an OBDII ecu and I make 214whp. Take that OBDII!!

I don't think it's that big a deal, as far as I know it does not affect WOT open loop mode anyway.
