wow im retarded, i responded thinkin u meant sounds like stereo...haha...anyway, im getting a light knock from the motor, but i can mainly only hear it below 3k and alot at idle. its not that loud but it is noticeable. and im not positive but i might be consuming some oil. I got a GSR block bored to 81.5mm with CP 9:1 pistons and eagle H beam rods, ACL thrust washers and rod bearings and Federal Mogul mains...dont quote me on that oil consumtion tho, it might just be different conditions im checking it in. also in the last 2 weeks i have thrown a CEL for knock sensor maybe once, then today i got it 5 times. im trying to figure if its serious or not..thanx

Well the CP piston has a slight knock to them kinda like a diesel truck engine. But shouldn't be that overwhelling . Also check you knock sensor i've seen alot of ppl break them off when rebuilding motor and try to put them back on glueing them,That never works. cause i might get connection time to time. that why you getting th CEL. IF you driving in this crazy cold weather, make sure you warm it up good before drive, if not drive with low RPMs .

so i can expect a light knock at idle with the pistons? its not overwhelming by any means...also if the knock sensor is screwed up would i get a CEL all the time, not just once in a while? ..also this cold weather does blow hardcore, but i NEVER even move it without letting it warm up at least 15 mins, and even then after driving and all it never gets above 150 degrees. also wat r yur thoughts on if my oil is coming out looking like garbage after just a few hundred miles at most? BTW ther is about 750 miles on the rebuild and ive done a few oil changes.
