Default JDM P13

Hey, i know there's gotta be a thousand threads out there covering this but i'm not finding em. I got a JDM P13 with my H22a and i'm in the process of putting my old Si OBD 1 harness on it. since its outta a 97+ i'm assuming its an OBD 2.... will i need to get a new OBD 1 ECU to go with my harness, or will it work fine?

if all it says is H22a and not H22a4 then its a jdm engine which would most likely be obd1.. You should be able to find the year of the engine somewhere on the block (on the side of the engine by the timing belt, on the front of the engine above the exhaust manifold or even on the head)

the date for mine is on the front of the motor, i believe on the head. it looks like a clock, sort of. 97+ is obd2, but, if you are using a jumper to obd1, then you would use an obd1 ecu. i hope im following this correctly.
