When ever I drive buy one of those radar signs it says i'm going about 5 miles slower then my speedo says I am. Anyone else with this issue? ( i have stock tires)

 

yep.. i think car manufacturer's do that because they are evil and want u to believe you are going faster than you really are...

ok.. maybe they arent evil.. but yea most cars do that.. if u ever get larger rims/tires etc.. it will change the reading of ur speedo.. even rolling on 16's with 45series tires my car is still like 1mph slower than what the little radar sign says..

i'd think its more or less some type of safety speed gap.. ::shrugs:: try driving other cars past the radar sign while its up.. heck call ur friends to drive past it and see how their cars fare.
