Default ECU Options for Ls/Vtec

Well here the deal...i plan on running a ls/vtec setup w/
b18a block
b18a pistons
gsr head
which will get me about a 9.8 compression
now i need a little more fuel im assuming so i cant run my stock p72 basemap from my original gsr maps...so i was looking for ideas to tune this...now forseeing that i want to eventually boost this i want vaible upgrade options....

just tryin to figure out...to go aem, hondata, or uberteg w/ wbo2 & egt....its so hard to make a decision....or even if there is a genric chip out there close to my needs thatd even work too!

search for a used VAFC , they sell for around 200 . you could use that for now and later on down the road when you get turbo you could decide which aftermarket ecu you want to go with or you could even stay w/ the VAFC .

ya ive considered that route...but theres a few probs w/ it

1) when i eventually boost it wont be able to retard my ecu
2) its a back *** way to trick your ecu...id rather have some sort of fuel maps etc that trickin the ecu...thats why i was planning on possibly going uberteg

Its common to run an ecu chipped with a mugen, skunk2, etc chip assuming that those chips are rich enough for an LS/VTEC. But from our experience even these generic chips will not fuel modestly worked LS/VTEC correctly and safely. The timing maps on these programs are almost stock. So these aren't extracting the full potential of your motors.

We can get you a custom programmed chip or modify your existing ECU to correctly run an LS/VTEC. We will build it according to your specs. You can fine tune this program with a VAFC if you wish.

What we are providing you is a more affordable alternative to running a standalone EMS (which will cost more once you add the dyno and tuning costs). We use our own software (not uberdata or crome) for creating our programs.

PM me for more details. We've worked with a lot of LS/VTECs and B20 VTECs in our area.
