Default Chrome plating ITR brake calipers, possible?

Is it possible to have the brake calipers chrome plated?

I know it's technically possible, but in asking around one person said he heard from his girlfriend's brother's friend's older brother that it wasn't a good idea because the calipers are mild steel which will flex and crack the chrome plating.

To me that doesn't sound too reliable.

Anyone here have any good, reliable information for me?

Just get them zinc plated i did mine plus if the chrome gets in the piston area the pistons is going to have some issues in fitting back in there

How does it look? Pics?

Anyone know of a good place to get them either polished or zinc plated?
