180 km/hr / 1.6 miles/km = 112.5 mph
Come to think of it, that was the top speed of my 87 CRX Si ...
so no, it's not fast enough and it would suck to get passed on the track by one while in my ITR!

So Ed, what's the chances of him actually tracking his car?

Not saying he doesn't, but if he holds true, I figure he's around 5% of this forum if he does.. (And no Chris N, I'm not saying he HAS to or anything )

See avatar doing a good job already, thank you though.

My flaming was aimed towards the original poster who blindly asked if a vtec controller was all he would need to carry him above 180 km.

First off why do you want to go any faster? The world land speed record is set somewhere @ 700+ mph. Can you do that in your car? If so please post pics where as I would love to see the ultimate example of a rice rocket
Second: A vtec controller wont help you when the rest of your car isn't prepared for the extra m's per hour.

**Edit** Just realized the ratio for kmph/mph lol

I hope not, because I plan on attending my first HPDE next month @ VIR and also driving in any East Coast Expo.
Not trying to be a dick Dave, just wanted to clarify

What does that mean? It has nothing to do with how long anyone has owned an R.

It has to do with being helpful and making sense.

I'm sure there are plenty of people who've registered after Dec. 31st, 2002 who are quite helpful and make absolute sense.

Not trying to start some stupid internet flame war although that comment could have been worded differently
