Autometer Oil temp Gauge and Greddy Oil cooler kit
Has anyone used a Greddy Oil Cooler kit and installed a oil temp gauge sender within the kit? Trying to figure out how it is done. Any help will be appreciated. If confusing, I'll try and post up pics later.
Hey Dude,
Sorry to pull this old thread up... just interested in whether you got the oil temp installed on the Greddy cooler kit?
I just bought a jap spec Greddy Oil cooler kit for my DC2R (I believe it's slightly different to the US ones... a bit thicker) ...
Did you have to modify any of the mounts? (Greddy advertise this as a GSR kit not type R)
Let me know if you've got some time!
Thanks mate!
Regards,
euGe.

Yeah also where did you mount the oil cooler and will the sandwich adapter ever be able to come off the engine, I know a fitting will be stuck in the block
I'm using Greddy gauges, but install would be the same...

The Greddy oil block adapter has three fittings, so you should be able to plumb in temp probe, and the send and return lines for the cooler kit...
