Idle control...
Acura told me is was completely normal. My brother has seen this in his GSR and in his S2K. Seems like a normal issue with these VTEC engines. I got three different opinions from 3 diff. mechanics at different Acura dealers, and they also told me it was normal. One guy said something about computer regulating fuel mixture, lean/rich, leading to higher idle in certain circumstances.
I remember a post from a while ago saying that the alternator runs higher with the lights, radio whatever draws a lot of amps, he said that the older R's burn out the alternator easily. That was what I read dont know if its true. Anyway the idle control valve or the throttle cable can control idle.
Here's my guess....in no particular order
1) ECU
2) vacuum (which is low on Spec Bs)
3) idle control screw on TB
