Type R(b18c5)????
I know I should do a search, but I don't know how to phrase it in the search.
I just recently swapped a 2000 b18c1(gsr) into my99 ek hatch. I'm planning on staying all motor, but I don't want to go all out crazy. It's going to be daily driven. Anyways I was thinking of putting the integra type r valvetrain, rods, and pistons and using the type r ecu for my gsr. My questions are: will I notice any significant gains and will my redline be that of the type r? Is it worth it? If not can anyone recomend a good setup for daily driving??? *I dont want to go all out

you could try CTR (B16B) pistons for a increased compression. The rods are basically the same, and as for valvetrain, just stick with some aftermartket springs/retainers and def. get some cams. You're gonna have to make use of the increased compression. You could just chip your existing ECU so you can still activate the butterflies, unless you've switched to the Skunk2 IM.
