aiite i know this issue comes up alot , i read almost all of the post on this aswell, my problem is that when my car is at a cold start it idles about 1900 rpm when its normal temp its about 1100 n goes up n down to about 1300, i changed out my fast idle valve, idle air control valve, adjusted my tps, check all vaccums, try to reset the the idle srew, what else could it be?

our idleing issues remain a mystery.

 

i have no cold idle so don't feel too bad, and when i take it out of gear sometimes it wants to cut off.

my b16 does the exact same thing. Idle at about 1900 rpm at cold start and on occasion the idel fluctuates from 1100 rpm to 1300 rpm. Im guessing this is a common problem. hehe

Damn, thats everything I was about to say. Tried bleeding the coolant then resetting the ECU?

 

about how far does the coolant drop in our systems when the thrermo opens up?
