Car won't shut off.
Here's the deal:
I'm doing a B16A1 swap in a 91 STD Civic hatch. I've got all the wiring pretty much in order, except for the No. 1 Cylinder position. The computer keeps throwing a code 9 and I have no idea where the wiring comes from (where the cylinder sensor is), or where it should go in the ECU. My car also won't shut off when I pull the key out and it starts to miss pretty bad above 2000RPM. I'm pretty sure its all connected to the code on the ECU, but I can't find how to deal with this in the manual. Maybe I'm just blind.
Anyway, any advice is sincerely appreciated.
Thanks,
Ryan

Yeah, it will still run when you disconnect the battery. You have to take the coil lead off to turn the damn thing off. Been shocked a few times
I'm not getting the code anymore, because I found I had some wires crossed. It still won't shut off and it still has a big miss. I checked each spark plug wire and they're all working fine. I even switched the injector wires that I ran and it was still having problems. I'm going to try and tackle it tomorrow morning, but again, any suggestions are very welcome.
Thanks

I know this is for 1.6 only but I think that the codes are still the same.

Code 5______MAP sensor again
Code 6______Coolant temperature
Code 7______Throttle angle
Code 8______Top dead center sensor
Code 9______No. 1 cylinder position(only on 1.6L)

Thanks for the list, but it's not throwing the code anymore. It's something in the ignition somewhere, but I can't seem to find it. The car idles just fine (a touch high, without much vacuum, but the head has been ported a bit).

Maybe you should finish that up...but make sure not to mess with ure "batter".

Any idea what would cause motor to keep going. I have an MSD SCI+ ignition with a Blaster SS coil. I just moved the coil away from the box to make sure I wouldn't have any problems. I was ready on MSD's site that a small amount of juice (just a few volts) could be causing the box to stay on and fire the coil. Could it be something from the computer?
Could improper setting of the TPS sensor cause the car to miss like it is. It only seems to really do it under part throttle. It will rev otherwise, but just won't shut off when I pull the key out.
Or better yet, would anyone know what the blue wire from an Si harness on the driver side connector (C313) does?

I went through the wiring and everything looks to be in order. I also pulled the plugs and the motor was and is running very rich.
The car won't shut off, but it's not dieseling. It seems like its still getting fuel and spark without the key in the ignition. Would this be connected to the misfire at all?
