1988 civic lx salvage title has power steering and AC (needs to be recharged)
5 speed manual, grey. car is registered as NON-operational but it drives perfect. i have not smogged the car. title is in my name

drivers side window is stuck in the up position
clutch is starting to go (new 90-91 clutch disk, flywheel and diaphram is included)

i have not tried to smog it. it might pass. i have a certificate from 2001 and it passed

hmm, if i can find a buyer for my car in cali, i could make a road trip down there to sell my car, and buy a car for the trip back to WA. would the car make it to WA?

 

yea it should make it. nothing is on the brink of breaking except the clutch might go out soon but itll make the trip. the only thing is its got 03 tags so that might be some trouble

 

thats coo, if i'd get pulled over i'd just tell them i'm takin it back to washington and they should be fine with it. plus, where i live we dont have to smog our cars :D

 

btw, when registered it wouldnt have to go through any inspections would it?

 

in california to register a salvaged vehicle it has to go through a 5 point inspection
