just got my recaro srd...how should i clean it?
i just got my recaro srd, and its in damn good condition for only 350
. But anyways, i gave it a good vacuuming, and i just wanted to know if there's anyway i can "Wash" the fabric. the recaro stitching (in white on black seat) is a lil greyish looking, and i wanna get that, as well as the seat portion of it, and a bit of the back as well in really good condition...how should i go about cleaning it? its a regular fabric seat by the way...not suede

try getting your hands on a wet vac..
they are mainly used for carpets, but im sure it would still work good on your seats..
it sprays water and soap, then sucks it up in the same swipe...
feels rewarding when you see the dirty water in the vaccuum..
you can probably rent one somewhere, ive seen them at grocery stores

Hey, I was wondering the same thing, I tried a mixture of Simple green and water
Then i went to Autozone like somone said to, and founbd TurtleWax Power Out!, its an upholstry cleaner, it comes even with a brush to scrub with. I used it on my EP3 seats worked like a charm, however so you know I dint try it on the suede part, I'm too scared. But I recommend it

the last thing i wanna do is "try" something, as Rayne said...and see that it doesn't work out right, or it damages the seat. i'm sure people like sassafrass have tried some stuff out there, that works...and doesn't damage the seat, and i just wanted to know what i should do.
Ya but I hear wet vac's are like the best things to use, its like steam cleaning takes out almost everything
Or you can order some OXYCLEAN from the commercials

any fabric cleaner or carpet cleaner will work....on the white part of the recaro i get a wash cloth , some liquid soap and water mix and it works perfect , unless somehow you have enough skills to spill **** on the top of your seat
