Default CEL, code 70

Alright im getting ready to sell my brothers accord (dont know jack **** about accords, im a teg guy) and i am getting a CEL code 70, wtf does that mean? i did some searching and didnt get a definite answer, so can someone give me a hand and tell me what i can do to fix this? the car is a 97 accord se automatic

70 is malfunction with the automatic transmission controls

so how would i go about fixing that? the tranny does take a dump alot, just shifts weird..

Since your car is a 97 with a OBD II computer...you can just run down to your local autozone and they can just tell you exactly what the code is a brief description. If you want to know for sure..

It is free and takes 2 secs</TD></TR></TABLE>I'll vote for that, too. For my '98, there's 9 different OBD2 codes that all blink out 70 if you just short the wires...
