My friend came over today after his stereo stopped working. He has an 89 prelude Si with a Pioneer deck and stock speakers. Everything just went out while he was driving.

Anyway, we checked all the fuses, and they were all good.

What else could it be??

 

check for any exposed wires.

 

Check all wires casings for cuts or gashes that may be causing a short. Also, check the fuse that is on the power wire of the decks wire harness. Could be as simple as a loose wire.. good luck

 

try the audio forum. they would give you better answers man.

my guess if all the fuses are good would be he friend the audio-out board in the deck.
