who makes it and where can i get it? I have a del sol and they don't make jdm corners for them so i want to paint them. I've seen it done but i can't find the stuff anywhere. please let me know. thanks

 

any hobby shop should have it and any craft store such as michaels, i know a couple different companies make it such as krylon

walmart may even have it

Actually they do (or least did) make JDM corners. They came on the JDM del sols (CRXs).

Anywho, I would have to suggest some sort of stain glass paint, or transparent model paint. Your only problem would be even coating.

 

perhaps the reason they don't make "jdm" corners was because they had 1pc. headlights? i dunno too much bout del sols but i always thought they had the 1 pc's

Tamiya x-26 clear orange paint... I believe Trains n Lanes carries it.

Yep, go to Home Depot. Look for Krylon Window Stain, or something to that effect. I know of a couple people who have done this.

its actually Krylon Stained Glass orange for those who are wondering, michaels carries this for sure

 

PEPBOYS has them in transparent red and transparent crystal blue for 3 bucks for a regular size spray can...

Exactly. When I got mine I tried home depot, walmart, hobbylobbby and none of them had it. I then tried Michaels as a last resort and they were stocked. 8 bux a can I believe.

this is the exact paint can that I used to paint my corners, and they came out looking like crap. I dunno if I did it wrong or what. I cleaned em, gave them 3 coats of spray then clear coated them. Didn't look good to me. Had to resort to rice clears

 

The michaels around here dont carry it in Northern Va

 

The Tamiya Clear Orange Paint is the best paint to paint your lenses with. Your just gonna need a foam brush to brush it on, it's not a spray.

The krylon stuff is what I used on my bumpers, it took 4 coats, but I think it came out good.

i wouldnt use more than 2 light coats because it gets too dark.

I like it VRDrvr, it looks good. I have a 4th Gen Accord also, and I had my corners and bumpers painted like 3 years ago. I had never seen anybody else with a 4th Gen and their corners and bumpers painted amber.
