repairing carbon fiber?

repairing carbon fiber?
Does any one know how to repair carbon fiber? I hav pretty deep scratches on my hood....looks like some one to a key or knife to it and i was wondering if anyone knows if there is a way to repair it.

You MAY be able to buff out small scuffs and scratches
BUT
If it's really deep you might want to strip it and re- clear coat it.
At that point I'd just buy a new hood.
