Im putting a y8 head on my 90 si civic, but the intake mani is a auto, which means the IACV is filled in right? Well if it is filled in cant i just take it to my dad's machine shop and have them open it up to where the IACV will fit. I mean the casting of the mani should be the same for the auto and standard, so it should haved the spot where the IACV is supposed to go, it just dont have the holes. So all i have to do is open it up, tap it out, and install the IACV right? Well if you have any info on this let me know, also will all the other plugs just plug in? thanks guys ahead of time for your info.

i believe it would work. Not 100% but I dont see why it wouldnt work.
