most likely not, because of emmisions, to be completly honest would you pay some extra 6000$ for no sunroof, diffent seats, different interior, and a tad bit different engine..

I doublt it because it wouldn't market well...

besides they would have to re-design the HID kit, which will not happen, and also lower the emmisions so lower the compression ratio, which will be the same as the type-s..

expect for the brand name seats and brakes, the type-r isn't really different from the type-s...

the only thing i would like is the DC5 tranny. everything else i can live without....

not only that but if would affect sales with other sports cars in the acura lineup.. the RSX is the entry level car (mid performance) i'm sure they wouldn't want to affect the sales of the TSX and other "S" class cars....

and besides the sales for the RSX is falling.... changes are it won't change anything.

Agreed. We've had 126 of these posts and they are all heresay. Until someone posts something with proof, these will continue to turn into he said, she said.
