It all depends on the offset. I am curently running 225/40/18s on my 1999 4 door. Will be switching to 235/40/18s in a month or two, the 225s are almost gone...

edit: got the c5 wheels and found out that the wheels were actually 18x8! anyway, they seem to BARELY fit and haven't had any issues with rubbing on the way home. btw, the offset is 44 on them
