What paint is mismatched. i didn't paint it the same color as the interior because I think it would look funky. If you think the box is mismatched its just the glare from the light. It goes from bronze to black.

As for a tutorial. i started one but i got too lazy to keep taking all those damn pictures.

lookin good, I see what you mean about the paint, the darker part in the picture matches the original trunk paint, it's not meant to match the side panels cause that would be disgusting. I just finished re-surfacing my trunk for the same thing you're doin, except I'm fibergalssing the entire trunk to fit/hide amps and 2 12"s... anyways, keep it up mang

doesn't look like that box would be big enough for the dub 7, what are the measurements?

exactly what i was thinking.
you could have saved money and bought two 12W6's or something and did both sides. it looks clean, but in a small *** sealed enclosure, you'll barely get any bass out of that sub. i know because i had a 10W7 in a sealed enclosure like 3 or 4 times that size.

it looks really really clean and saves alot of trunk..but the w7 will never show it's true colors or come close to doing so in such an enclosure.

IMO, if you want looks and small space consumption over sound, I would have gone with cheaper sub. It kills me when I go to a car show and a civic will have a pair of w7's in enclosures like that on each side. Then they turn it on and bass is almost nonexistant considering what the w7's output should be.

In order to give the super subs a proper fiberglass setup, I think you would need to sacrifice the spare plus some additional space.

looks like it has less than 1 cubic feet after dispalcement. But if it sounds good to you, then thats all it matters.

The box has about 1.5 cu ft after displacment. The box looks smaller then it is, it goes deeper into the side compartment, I cut the plastic on the panel to use all of the spce I could. 1.5 cu ft is a pretty good amout of space for the w7. I also wanted ti to be clear and tight bass so I made the box sealed and fairly small.

It sounds great and it gets louder then i will ever want it to go. If i wanted to break my windows i would put my beyond audio inhuman 15' in my car and kill my self.

looks good , IMO i would have done it in some flat colored paint to match the paneling, but thats just me, to each his own. how many layers of glass did you use?

that box looks too damn small for w7. I consider that as a waste since it does not unleash the true power of a w7. My friend's H.O. box for his 1 12" w7 took away his whole trunk on a 99 accord sedan.

but to each his own i respect u for that w7

he said it's 1.5 cubes after displacement, it should be perfectly fine. Not too small at all.
